Travel Surprises

I travel 90% of my life. This is no surprise to anyone. HOWEVER...I still have so many issues flying. After a very tough week and flying out to Chicago for yet another business trip, my sweet husband surprised me with roses in my hotel room. I dropped my phone, wallet, and room key in my hand as I gasped with excitement! I'm so blessed and love him so much.

It was an honor to be asked to design baby Feldman's room before his arrival in three weeks.  His mama is just a trip to work with.  Mama Feldman requested yellow, grey, and chevron...great taste.  I hope he loves it as much as we do!

Lil Lady Turns 1

What a year! My sweet niece grew so fast before our eyes! Each stage went faster than the last and I cherished every second of her beautiful moments.  In the coming blogs, I will share her memorable moments as well as her big brother who is almost 3! God has blessed our family over and over and my heart is so full.

I've never been a real book reader pursay. Over the past few months I've read some books that have changed my life and I wanted to share this particular one. Joy Gills is like a sister to me and gave me a gift that I had to pass on. After reading, I prayed over the book and I immediately was told to purchase seven copies of the same book for certain individuals. I must say it has changed them as well. The book is written by a Cardiologist in West Palm, FL and I can certainly relate to much of the story due to the profession I'm in, however it doesn't focus too much on medical jargon. I now believe AND understand the power and beauty of life and death due to the Lord's will. We pray so often for loved one's to be healed from sickness. I've learned not to pray to keep our loved ones alive or to miraculously be healed. I've learned to pray for God's will, because in the end (after all of the suffering), it WILL be God's will. Please grab a copy...Amazon.com has it for a very affordable price. It's a 2-3 night read tops. I look forward to hearing the feedback!

So after a brutal battle with food poisoning this weekend, I still wanted desperately to honor my mother in law for a beautiful Mother's Day dinner. I however could barely stand to cook. Honey Baked Ham came to my rescue and little did I know how EASY it was! It's already cooked and spiral cut. You place it on the counter 2 hours before dinner until it reaches room temp. The ham was delicious and I made it fun with different mustards to try for dipping. Mustards included spicy horseradish, plain yellow (for the boring folks like me), and so on. It was nice to know that the main dish was the easiest choice. Best part, leftovers for all to take home and dinner again tonight!

My nephew Robert (Casey's little Guy) has brought us so much joy. He's now a year and a half and continues to make us laugh and love harder than we ever have before. My sister and Mom decided to come down to FL from the Carolina's with little Robert. His first flight went great and loved the entire experience. As he was walking off of the plane, check out the shirt he was wearing...
Surprise! Baby Girl is Due in September and I've been busy shopping away for pink and ruffles. God is great and we're elated.
